Why we build custom
A template is a cheap start that becomes a constraint. It ships dozens of features you'll never use, its design was drawn for a different business, and changing anything means editing code. When we build from scratch we build only what you need — so pages stay light, loading stays fast and extending later is straightforward.
The second benefit is SEO. Most template sites break heading structure, repeat the same copy across pages and ship no structured data at all. We build every page in a form Google can read: correct heading hierarchy, unique metadata, structured data and clean URLs.
Four stages
- Brief and research — we learn your business, your customer and your competitors, then agree on the pages you actually need
- Structure and design — page architecture first, visual design second; every screen is approved by you
- Development — design becomes code, tested separately on mobile, tablet and desktop
- Launch and handover — domain, hosting, SSL and analytics are configured; the site goes live and you get a walkthrough
What's included
Every project includes responsive design, baseline SEO setup, a contact form, Google Analytics and post-launch support. Depending on the site type we add e-commerce, multiple languages, a CMS or a booking flow — decided during the brief.
How long it takes
A landing page usually takes 1–2 weeks, a corporate site 2–4 weeks, an e-commerce platform 4–8 weeks. Timing depends mostly on content readiness: when copy and images arrive on schedule, projects finish early. We commit to a date during the brief and keep it.
How pricing works
Our price is one-time — there is no monthly subscription. The site is yours and can be handed to another team at any point. Page count, functionality and design complexity drive the price; domain and hosting are billed separately at cost.
Who this is for
A custom build isn't right for every business — we say that openly. If you need an online business card and the budget is tight, starting on a ready-made platform is the more sensible move. Custom work pays off when the site is an actual sales channel: customers order from it, send enquiries or choose products. In that case every second of load time and every extra click feeds directly into revenue.
The three profiles we work with most are service businesses collecting enquiries, e-commerce selling products, and corporate presences built for credibility and partnerships. The job of the site differs in each case, so the structure differs too.
What we don't do
- Buy a template and drop a logo on it, however cheap that would be
- Register the domain under our own name; control stays with you
- Keep the code locked in — you can move to another team at any point
- Push an unfinished site live just to hit a launch date
- Call a project successful before measurement is in place
What happens after launch
Once the site is live, real usage data starts arriving within a few weeks: which pages get read, where visitors drop off, whether forms actually get submitted. We make the first round of adjustments from that data — because no project is perfect on day one. That is what the support window is for: not hunting bugs, but adapting to real behaviour.
